Heritage Red is a very delightfully sweet deep red wine made from the ever-familiar Concord Grape. The native American Concord offers medium acidity and low tannins. The body carries medium weight and a nose that has hints of cherry and spice. Pairs well with chocolate based desserts. Some may add club soda to make a festive bubbly beverage.
The January 2019 Wine Of The Month is not just delicious, it is also award winning. Heritage Red won the 2013 Gold Medal at the Dixie Classic Fair, and the 2010 Gold Medal at Wines of the South.
